The thing about babies is that they don’t stay babies for very long. One minute they’re a small, squeaky bundle who can’t hold their own head up, and the next they’re using your best saucepan as a drum kit. People tell you to “cherish every moment,” which is lovely advice if you weren’t also trying to find the dummy, make the bottle, and remember when you last slept.

That’s where BabyTracks comes in.

It’s a way to catch a few of those moments before they wriggle away, the stories, the sounds, and all the things you’d like to tell your future self (or your future teenager) about what life was really like in the blur of those early days.

How it Works

Intro

Either you’ve made the excellent decision to document this magical, chaotic chapter of life, or someone has given you a very thoughtful gift. An intro call will then be arranged to put you both at ease and go through any questions you might have about the process.

Record

We send you a simple recording kit. You talk. That’s it. You don’t have to be poetic, or calm, or even fully awake. Just talk about what’s happening, what surprised you, or what you wish someone had told you before it all began.

Each parent records separately, which means you both get to speak freely without worrying about interrupting each other. When we edit it all together, it sounds like you’re in perfect harmony, the audio version of finishing each other’s sentences.

Edit

Then we add some carefully curated music, some immersive sound design and maybe a few real-world sounds like that very first laugh you caught on your phone, or the funny word your child has for a Tractor. Suddenly, your story is alive.

Once your story is alive, you get to choose how it finds its place in your world. It will arrive on a beautifully packaged USB you can keep and revisit whenever you like. In addition, receive a vinyl record that you can play, or proudly display in your home. You’ll also have a private webpage to share your recording with the ones you love. However you choose to receive it, it's the gift that keeps on giving.
