How it Works
All you need is a computer, laptop or phone to record your Life Track.
During recording, you'll share your story, guided by your notes, crafted to feel like an intimate personal diary rather than a formal interview.
Intro
The first stage is an intro call to answer any questions and guide you through the process.
Record
We send you a premium studio microphone that plugs straight into your device as well as a recording guide to spark those memories and shape your story. Then, simply follow an email link to start the recording session online!
Edit
Drawing on years of professional sound experience, LifeTracks expertly edits your recording, adding carefully selected music, immersive sound effects and relevant soundbites from your smartphone videos, to create a unique and meaningful documentary. There’s no set formula to the edit; each recording is bespoke to your life story.
Share
Once the final edit is approved, we send you a beautifully packaged Life Tracks USB and access to your private webpage where you can download and share your LifeTrack.
For a premium option, you can have your story cut onto a personalised vinyl or have it framed as a beautiful piece of art. A QR code on the vinyl will take you straight to a digital version of your track.

About
LifeTracks began with one small idea: to bottle up time.When our baby boy turned one, we wanted to create something meaningful that more than just photos or video clips. We wanted to capture our voices, our memories, the way that year felt, so that one day he could listen back and travel back in time.
As a sound designer for TV, film and Radio, I’ve spent 20 years helping others tell their stories. I’ve seen how powerful audio is and how a familiar voice or a favourite song can bring you right back to a moment in an instant. It’s magic… and I realised it shouldn’t just be for film or TV, It should be for everyone.
LifeTracks was born. A way to help people preserve the stories that matter most.
