These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the LifeTracks website and services. By engaging LifeTracks or purchasing a LifeTracks product, you agree to these terms.

About LifeTracks
LifeTracks is a UK-based audio storytelling studio providing professionally produced, story-driven audio documentaries for individuals and families.
Services
LifeTracks provides audio recording, editing, sound design, and delivery services tailored to each client. Each LifeTrack is a bespoke product created using material provided by the client and shaped through a guided process.
Due to the personalised nature of the service, the final output will vary from project to project.
Orders and payment
Payment is required in full before work begins.
Once payment has been received, you will receive confirmation and a LifeTracks reference number. This reference should be used in all future communication.
As LifeTracks recordings are bespoke, payments are non-refundable once the recording and production process has begun.
Scheduling and timing
LifeTracks is designed to fit around real life. Recording does not need to begin immediately after purchase.
Clients are responsible for contacting LifeTracks when they are ready to begin the process. Introductory calls and recording schedules will be agreed together at that stage.
Client responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when requested
- Use the recording equipment and guides as instructed
- Return any recording equipment provided, using the supplied return label
- Ensure that any third-party audio or materials you provide are owned by you or used with permission
LifeTracks cannot be held responsible for delays caused by missing information, unreturned equipment, or scheduling changes outside our control.
Creative process and revisions
LifeTracks recordings are crafted with care and attention to narrative and sound quality.
Clients will be given the opportunity to review and approve their recording before final delivery. Reasonable revisions are included as part of the service.
Revisions that fall outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges, which will be discussed in advance.
Delivery
Final recordings may be delivered digitally, via USB, or on vinyl, depending on the product selected.
Estimated delivery times will be provided but may vary due to production or shipping factors.
Intellectual property and usage licence
LifeTracks retains the copyright to the structure, editing, sound design, and production of each LifeTrack.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual licence for private, personal use only.
This means:
- Your LifeTrack is for personal listening and private sharing with family and loved ones
- It must not be uploaded, distributed, or shared publicly online
- It must not be used for commercial purposes
Once a LifeTrack has been delivered, the client is responsible for how the recording is stored, shared, and used.
LifeTracks is not responsible for unauthorised sharing or misuse once the recording is in the client’s possession.
Confidentiality and privacy
LifeTracks treats all recordings and personal information as confidential.
Recordings will never be shared publicly by LifeTracks without the client’s explicit permission.

Limitation of liability
LifeTracks will always take reasonable care in delivering its services. However, we are not liable for:
- Losses arising from misuse of the final recording
- Delays caused by factors outside our control
- Emotional responses to the content of a LifeTrack
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Changes to these terms
LifeTracks may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on the website with an updated date.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
